Our Father, Our Strength

There was a day I went to work feeling very weak and I had this terrible stomach ache that would not just stop, it was a horrible morning. The worst part was that I had tons of work to do. While I was slowly working and worrying about how I was going to get through the day, a colleague walked up to me; “hey Stella, how are you feeling this morning” he asked, “very weak” I replied sadly. Then he said  “hold on a second, I want to show you something” then he brought out an old piece of clothe we use as a rag, on it was written;

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME.”

There and then I was reminded once again that I am not sufficient of myself but my sufficiency is of the Lord. Instantly I felt loved and cared for. The simple ways our father reminds us of his unfailing love.

Darlin, there are days we feels so weak like me, and unintentionally we forget the promises of our father and once again I am using this medium to remind you that you are not sufficient of yourself, all of your sufficiency is of the Lord. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Have a beautiful day.
